This policy explains how Love Unwritten (“we,” “us”) handles information when you visit theloveunwritten.com and related pages (the “Site”).
Information you give us
- Newsletter. If you subscribe to Love Notes, we collect your email address, the page where you signed up and, when available, the campaign that brought you to the Site. We use this to send the newsletter and understand which content people find useful.
- Contact form. If you message us, we collect your name, email address and message so we can reply.
Information collected automatically
- Analytics. We may use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the Site, such as which articles are read and which links are clicked. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies and collects information such as device type, browser, approximate location and pages visited. You can learn more in Google’s explanation of how it uses data from sites that use its services, and you can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Campaign attribution. If you arrive through a link that includes campaign information (for example, a Pinterest pin), your browser keeps that information in session storage and a session cookie until you close the browser. This lets us understand which content leads readers to click our recommendations.
- Recommendation clicks. When you click an affiliate link, we record the article, which recommendation was clicked and any campaign information. We do not store your IP address or name in this record.
- Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and time of request) for security and reliability.
Affiliate partners and other websites
When you click an affiliate link, you leave the Site and go to a third-party website, such as ClickBank or a product creator’s site. That website may use its own cookies to track the referral and process any purchase. Its handling of your information is governed by its own privacy policy, not this one.
How we use information
- To send the newsletter you asked for and respond to messages.
- To understand and improve our content.
- To keep the Site secure and prevent spam or abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
Email service providers
We may use a third-party email service to store subscriber addresses and send the newsletter. Such providers process your information on our behalf and only for that purpose.

- Every newsletter includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can also ask us to remove you at any time.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
- Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your personal information. To make a request, contact us.
Data retention
We keep newsletter subscriptions until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, and contact messages for as long as needed to respond and keep reasonable records.
Children
The Site is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
